Saints, Falcons are facing off in the Georgia Dome

First-quarter update:The New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons traded long touchdown drives to finish the first quarter at the Georgia Dome tied at 7. The Falcons scored on a 1-yard run by Steven Jackson that capped a 10-play, 76-yard drive that took 4:16.

The Saints answered with a 15-play, 78-yard drive that ended with a 1-yard touchdown pass to tight end Ben Watson. At one point on the drive the Saints converted three consecutive first downs.

Key stats: Saints, Drew Brees, 9 of 12 for 63 yards and a TD.  Falcons, Matt Ryan, 4 of 5 for 51 yards; Steven Jackson, six carries for 28 yards and a TD.
