*Second-quarter update: *The New Orleans Saints used a 44-yard scoring pass from Drew Brees to Jimmy Graham to take a 14-13 lead Thursday night at the Georgia Dome.
Graham got open on a nice double move on the left sideline and Brees hit his big tight end in stride. Graham carried a Falcons defenders into the end zone and then forced the uprights to be adjusted after his dunk-spike.
Atlanta had a first-and-goal from the 10 toward the end of the period but had to settle for Matt Bryant's second field goal of the quarter (24 yards; first was from 39).
Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan had a lot of success attacking Saints cornerback Corey White, who is starting in place of Jabari Greer, who was placed on IR after tearing his left ACL against the 49ers.
