The NFL and FedEx announced its nominees for the FedEx Air & Ground Player of the Week with New Orleans Saints tight end Taysom Hill receiving a nod for his outstanding Week 11 performance against the Cleveland Browns.
In the win over the Browns, Taysom Hill had an outstanding all-around performance, rushing for 138 yards and three touchdowns on just seven carries. He also set a career-high with eight receptions for 50 yards and returned a kickoff for a 42-yard gain. Two of his touchdown runs, a 33-yard and a 75-yard score, came in the fourth quarter alone. Taysom Hill became the first NFL player with three rushing touchdowns, 50 receiving yards and one pass completion in a game since former Kansas City Chiefs running back Ed Podolak on November 25, 1971 at Detroit.
Hill earned his first FedEx Air & Ground Player of the Week award in the Saints 39-32 win against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 5 of the 2022 season.
Fans have an opportunity to vote for their favorite nominee, all of whom are selected by their respective NFL team, to help determine the award's three finalists.
