The New Orleans Saints, playing their second game under interim head coach Darren Rizzi, unveiled a varied offensive attack in taking a 14-6 halftime lead over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday at the Caesars Superdome.

Football player Taysom Hill was the center of the offense early as he caught passes, ran the ball, completed a pass and returned a kickoff. He scored the first touchdown on a 10-yard run from the quarterback spot. The second touchdown came on another big play to Marquez Valdes-Scantling, a 70-yard catch-and-run that was helped by great blocking by tight end Juwan Johnsoin. It was Valdes-Scantling's third touchdown in the past two weeks.

While Hill played well he was also picked off on a deep throw and lost a fumble at the 7-yard line, helping keep Cleveland (2-7) in the game. The Browns scored on an 89-yard pass from Jameis Winston to Jerry Jeudy. The two-point attempt failed. Kicker Dustin Hopkins missed a 27-yard field-goal attempt as the half expired. He missed a 51-yard attempt earlier in the game.

Quarterback Derek Carr was 13 of 15 for 167 yards and running back Alvin Kamara had eight carries for 42 yards. Hill had two carries for nine yards, seven catches for 36 yards and was one of two passing for 18 yards. According to researcher Drew Porche, Hill is the first player to have a fumble, interception, touchdown run, kickoff return and pass completion in NFL history.

Saints defensive tackle Bryan Bresee had a sack.

Saints tight end Foster Moreau left the game with a shoulder injury but returned. Center Erik McCoy made his return to the lineup after being out with a groin injury since Week 3. He made a brief visit to the injury tent but returned.

The Saints (3-7) will get the ball to start the second half.
