Leading up to the team's preseason home opener on Aug. 25, the New Orleans Saints will be unveiling the final updates of the Caesars Superdome's dynamic $560 million transformation, strategically aimed at enhancing the facility's fan experience. The team has proudly committed nearly $180 million toward the $560 million project. The collaborative project funded by the New Orleans Saints, Louisiana Stadium & Exposition District (LSED), and the State of Louisiana has progressed over a five-year period through the work of a team of architects, contractors, designers and construction workers operating around the clock in order to reach its completion by the start of the 2024 Saints season. Saints season ticketholders and their guests will be the first to experience the remarkable evolution of the facility prior to the building hosting the National Football League's showcase event, Super Bowl LIX, on Feb., 9, 2025, the year which will also be the 50th anniversary of the stadium.

The purpose of the Caesars Superdome transformation project is to preserve the character of the building's iconic exterior, while elevating its overall functionality and the gameday experience for all guests. These modernizations bring the facility in line with stadiums being built and renovated across the world, thus keeping the storied home of the Saints and the city of New Orleans as ideal hosts for the upcoming and future Super Bowls, as well as numerous national and international events for decades to come. Equally as important, the Caesars Superdome will continue to serve as a source of great civic pride while providing a significant economic impact for the city of New Orleans and the state of Louisiana.

New Orleans Saints enhance accessibility for disabled fans and guests with sensory challenges at Caesars Superdome

The Caesars Superdome is currently undergoing a dynamic $560 million transformation aimed at enhancing the facility's fan experience. The team has proudly committed nearly $180 million toward the $560 million project. The project is reaching completion to be ready for the start of the 2024 New Orleans Saints season. Multiple additions have been included for our fans and guests with physical disabilities and for our fans and guests with sensory needs and their families or companions to provide an upgraded experience.

The Saints are taking significant steps to ensure that all fans can enjoy an inclusive gameday experience at the Caesars Superdome. Recent upgrades have bolstered ADA seating options throughout the stadium, offering enhanced accessibility across various price points, including new premium options and ADA seating decks. Banks of new elevators have been installed throughout the stadium to help our fans and guests with disabilities to get to their seats more quickly and efficiently than previously possible.

KultureCity® is a national non-profit organization that provides sensory needs and sensory inclusive training. The Saints engaged with KultureCity® to train gameday staff to support and accommodate our fans and guests with sensory needs. As part of the team's commitment to its fans and guests (and parents and companions of fans and guests) with sensory disabilities, the Caesars Superdome has attained the Sensory Inclusive™ Certification from KultureCity®. Supporting the team's efforts to enhance the enjoyment of all fans on gameday are two updated KultureCity® sensory rooms which have been designed to accommodate fans and guests with sensory needs and those accompanying them. These rooms are equipped with soothing features that create a retreat to enhance comfort and provide a respite from the excitement of gameday and potential overstimulation from the gameday environment. The rooms, as well as the guest services office at Gate F, also provide sensory bags that contain objects to help lessen sensory overload and provide relief for the person using them.

The Saints have launched educational initiatives to raise awareness about these new enhancements. The Saints are employing outreach efforts including using the team's digital platforms to inform fans about available accommodations and promote inclusivity

Looking ahead, the Saints plan to expand their accessibility initiatives further, with ongoing improvements and innovations in development. As the team gears up for another season, their commitment remains unwavering: ensuring that every fan's experience at the Caesars Superdome is exceptional. The Saints believe these accessibility upgrades are a vital aspect of the Saints fan experience.
