New Orleans Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis announced today that the club has signed tackle Chandler Brewer and waived guard Nouri Nouili.
Brewer, 6-6, 320, was originally signed by the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Middle Tennessee State in 2019. In his career, he has appeared in 14 regular season games with four starts at right guard for Los Angeles (2019-22) and the Jacksonville Jaguars (2023).
In 2023, his first season in Jacksonville, the Florence Ala. native spent the first two months of the season on the practice squad before being signed to the active roster, where he appeared in one game as a reserve. In 2022, Brewer played in six games for the Rams with four starts at right guard.
At Middle Tennessee State, Brewer was a four-year letterman from 2015-18 and two-time team captain his final two seasons. He played in 52 career games with 50 starts at both guard and tackle. As a senior in 2018, Brewer opened all 14 games for the Blue Raiders and garnered first-team All-Conference USA honors.
