The Morton's The Steakhouse Community Player of the Week announced at the Saints vs. Tampa Bay game was Wide Receiver Courtney Roby for his outstanding efforts in the community.
Roby teamed up with fellow Saints players, United Way Southeast Louisiana and Irving Morris for the second annual Hope for the Holidays Gala on Dec. 14. The event supported the "Hope for the Holidays" project, helping rebuild homes damaged by hurricanes Katrina and Isaac. The gala included a night of entertainment, music, dinner and exclusive access to members of the black and gold.
Roby also participated in a meet-and-greet with fans at Winn-Dixie in October, spending time talking with fans, as well as signing autographs and taking pictures.
