The Morton's The Steakhouse Community Player of the Week announced at the Saints vs. Falcons game was Defensive End Cameron Jordan for his outstanding efforts in the community.
Jordan has spent time over the last year teaching local students about the importance of protecting the environment during Chevron Energy Efficiency visits. He's visited Bridgedale Elementary, Ben Franklin Elementary Math & Science and McDonogh #35, giving students tips on how they can help conserve resources. Jordan taught students simple ways to make a difference including turning lights off when they leave a room, turning off the water when they're brushing their teeth and riding bikes or walking instead of having parents drive them a short distance.
In addition to Chevron Energy Efficiency visits, Jordan has participated in Rotolo's Literacy events, as well as hospital visits and countless community appearances with the Saints, as well as to support his teammates' charity initiatives.
Congratulations again to Cameron Jordan, Morton's the Steakhouse Community Player of the Week!
