Former New Orleans Saints defensive lineman Derland Moore will appear at the Saints Hall of Fame Museum, located at Gate B on the Plaza Level of the Louisiana Superdome, from 10 a.m.-11:15 a.m. on Sunday, September 26 prior to the New Orleans Saints home game with the Atlanta Falcons.
Moore played for the New Orleans Saints from 1973 through 1985. He was a Pro Bowl selection in 1983.
Moore was inducted into the Saints Hall of Fame in 1991. He is a member of the all-time New Orleans Saints team for the first 40 years in franchise history.
Moore is a member of the top 100 players in Oklahoma Sooners football history and he is being honored by Poplar Bluff (Missouri) High School on October 8 when the school will name the football field named after him. Moore played at Poplar Bluff from 1963 through 1968.
*Moore will be available for autographs and pictures. The Saints Hall of Fame Museum is open free to ticket holders three hours prior to game time and for 45 minutes following each home game. The museum is open at a cost of $7 per individual and $5 for groups of 10 or more Monday through Friday by appointment. *
