New Orleans Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis announced on Thursday, March 13, that the club has agreed to terms with tight end Jack Stoll. Here are five things to know about the Saints roster addition:

  1. Jack Stoll is heading into his fifth NFL season having spent this past season with the Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins as well as preseason with the New York Giants. He appeared in 11 games with two starts for the Eagles and Dolphins and finished with two receptions for 10 yards plus two coverage stops.
  2. Stoll has primarily been used as a blocker in his NFL career, registering 1,019 snaps as a run-blocker, 126 as a pass-blocker and running 523 routes according to Pro Football Focus.
  3. The tight end has also been rotated through special teams, tallying 704 special teams snaps with seven special teams stops.
  4. Stoll signed with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Nebraska in 2021. In four years for the Cornhuskers, Stoll recorded 61 catches for 657 yards and six touchdowns in 43 games. Stoll also earned a degree in marketing and was Academic All-Big 10 from 2017 to 2020.
  5. Stoll attended Regis Jesuit High School in Aurora, Colo. During his senior year, he was second-team all-state with 34 receptions for 434 yards and six touchdowns. He also played basketball and competed in track and field.
