Roman Harper will host the 1st annual Charity Sports Celebrity Golf and Auction Fund Drive

Events to benefit Harper's foundation

Roman Harper of the Superbowl Champion New Orleans Saints will host the 1st annual "Sainted Weekend" July 9-10th in his hometown of Prattville, AL.  The weekend will consist of a Celebrity Golf Tournament and Auction Fund drive with proceeds benefiting his non-profit Harper's Hope 41 Foundation,"Mentoring youth to strengthen families"* **and will take place at the Marriot Legions Golf Resort and the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail.   Celebrity athletes that will be in attendance include Saints Darren Sharper, Usama Young, Jahri Evans, Chase Daniel, Tyler Lorenzen, and Carl Nicks.

 Harper, alumnus of the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Alabama and graduate of Prattville High School formed the Harper's Hope 41 Foundationto fulfill the need to lend a helping hand to challenged youth, the leaders of tomorrow, and the future of the nation.  The Harper's Hope 41 Foundation, a non-profit 501C(3) service organization will be initiating efforts through aid in support, promotion, and educational success of the young men and women of tomorrow.  Through mentoring programs, tutorial programs, career counseling, spiritual resources, and progressive assessment, youth will gain from the expertise contributed to enable life altering decisions, as well as successful goal developed decision making.  Harper' s foundation seeks to "change the perspective many of our youth have on life and what they can do or become". 

Harper has also been an avid volunteer and donor to the fund raising efforts of programs such as the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, YMCAs, local schools in Prattville and New Orleans, as well as special needs and mental health programs. 

The Hope 4*1 Foundationis currently seeking support through donations of event sponsorship, merchandise, participation, services, and/or time for the "Sainted Weekend".  For more information or if you would like to donate or take part in this great event please contact event coordinator:
