<span style=""> <span style="">NEW ORLEANS SAINTS HOST NFL HIGH SCHOOL PLAYER DEVELOPMENT (HSPD) 7-ON-7 CHAMPIONSHIPS </span>
WHO: New Orleans Saints, NFL and over 190 high school football players and coaches.
WHAT: 16 high school football teams representing their respective NFL markets will compete in the tournament. Capitol High School from Baton Rouge will represent the Saints. Teams, comprised of 12 players each, will advance to the championship game through a series of round-robin competitions. To be eligible, all players participated in the NFL's High School Player Development Program and the program's character-development and life skills sessions.

Round Robin: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Friday)
8:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. (Saturday)
Single game elimination: 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Saturday)

Teams participating in the NFL HSPD 7-On-7 Tournament Championships include the Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, New England Patriots, New York Giants, New York Jets, New Orleans Saints, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks and Washington Redskins.
The NFL's nationwide HSPD program focuses on character development and specific skill training and provides participants with a curriculum that focuses on inspiring excellence in the classroom, community, and on the playing field. The program is free for students and participation in the program has grown to more than 12,000 high school students in 17 cities nationwide.
