<span>On Friday, the New Orleans Saints' offensive line, headed by tackles Zach Strief and Jon Stinchcomb, will be hosting an offensive line youth football camp on Friday at the team's training facility in Metairie.
The camp is designed for children, ages 9 to 13, who want to learn the fundamentals of offensive line play from the Saints' players and selected members of the coaching community.
"We are going to go over the proper techniques that we were taught as kids and impart not only those skills and techniques, but also talk to the children about real issues that they face on a daily basis," said Stinchcomb.
The camp, which is free of charge, has witnessed an amazing turnout of local students and is currently at full capacity. The football camp, which the New Orleans Saints Youth programs Department has organized, will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Participants will be taught the correct form of hand placement, proper stances, as well as the correct basis for footwork and learning how to properly get off the line of scrimmage on the snap of the football. Kids who attend the camp will also receive a life-skills message from players and coaches.
