Chevron and the Saints will continue to show their commitment to the development and education of our children by recognizing Teacher of the Week Sammie Lynn Drury. In her 10th year teaching at South Plaquemines High School, Drury currently teaches ninth through 12th grade math.
The experience was rather emotional for Drury.
"I would to thank Chevron and the Saints for such an awesome experience. I was almost in tears when my video played on the big screen in front of so many Saints fans," Drury said. "I am so proud to have represented South Plaquemines High School as Chevron's teacher of the week."
Drury earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education with an emphasis in Secondary Education from Our Lady of Holy Cross College.
