On Friday, August 15 TEAMSMILE, a non-profit organization founded by Dr. Bill Busch and supported by Henry Schein Dental (through the Company's global social responsibility program Henry Schein Cares) will provide approximately 100 children with free oral health care screenings and treatments from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the New Orleans Saints Practice Facility.
ON Thursday, August 14, the children, their parents, and volunteer dentists will attend a special dinner. On Saturday, August 16 the children, parents, and volunteers will then attend the New Orleans Saints v. Houston Texans pre-season football game. TEAMSMILE partners with major sports organizations and local dentists who volunteer their time to provide dental care to underserved children who would not otherwise receive care. Since the program began in 2006, over 2,000 children have received free care.
The day-long event on Friday includes games and the opportunity to meet players and cheerleaders from the New Orleans Saints. Elements of the Saints Experience and Gatorade Junior Training Camp program will be set up on the VooDoo practice field for the kids to enjoy. TEAMSMILE worked with the Louisiana Department of Health to identify underserved families in the community who would benefit from free dental care.

WHAT:Children will receive free dental screening, treatments, and oral health education from local volunteer dentists at the New Orleans Saints Practice Facility. Dental services include screenings, extractions and fillings. Children and dental volunteers will also receive free tickets to the New Orleans Saints v. Houston Texans pre-season football game.
