Five Things to Know about Saints cornerback Joejuan Williams

New Orleans Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis announced Tuesday that the club has signed cornerback Joejuan Williams. Here are five things to know about the Saints roster addition:

1. Joejuan Williams joins the Saints after initially being drafted 45th overall by the New England Patriots in the 2019 NFL Draft and spending the 2023 season with the Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Vikings.

2. In five seasons with the New England Patriots, Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings, Williams played in 42 games with one start, recording 39 tackles (26 solo), 10 pass breakups and six special teams stops.

3. In college with the Vanderbilt Commodores, Williams played in 36 career games over three seasons and posted 119 tackles, four interceptions, 30 pass breakups and one forced fumble.

4. Full name is Joejuan Lamont Williams. Born and raised in Nashville, Tenn.

5. Ran a 4.55 at his pro day at Vanderbilt.
