New Orleans Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis announced today that the club has signed guard Tremayne Anchrum Jr., tackle Jesse Davis, placed tackle Justin Herron on Injured Reserve and waived offensive lineman Mark Evans II.

Anchrum, 6-2, 314, was originally selected in the seventh round (250th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams. In four seasons with the Rams, he played in 31 games with one start at right guard in 2022. In 2023, the Powder Springs, Ga. rebounded from a season-ending fibula injury in 2022 suffered in Week Three to appear in all 17 contests and one playoff game. Off the field, he was the Rams team nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year. He spent the 2024 offseason with the Seattle Seahawks.

Anchrum played in 55 games with 37 starts for Clemson, becoming the Tigers' full-time starter at right tackle his final two seasons, when they compiled a 29-1 record. He was a two-time All-Conference selection at Clemson.

Davis, 6-6, 309, was originally signed by the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Idaho in 2015. In his career, he has appeared in 95 games with 72 starts at left guard, left tackle, right guard and right tackle for the Miami Dolphins (2017-21), the Pittsburgh Steelers (2022) and the San Francisco 49ers (2023).

In 2023, the Asotin, Wash. native spent the second half of the season on the practice squad of the NFC Champion 49ers, appearing in one contest. In 2022, Davis played in 14 games for Pittsburgh. In 2021, his last season in Miami, he played in all 17 games and started 14 contests at right tackle and two at left guard.

At Idaho, Davis was a four-year letterman from 2011-14 and three-year starter, playing in 39 games with 27 starts, after playing at defensive tackle his first two campaigns.
